    Job Description
    As a liaison to Interactive Brokers’ retail and professional clients, the IB consultant is accountable for providing client service to IB’s clients. This includes retail customers, financial advisors, hedge fund operators and other broker-dealers. Our aim is to build and maintain long-term customer relationships, provide access to desired markets and increase our customer retention as we expand on our product and service offerings.

    Responsibilities
    Mainly management and focus on a wide scale of client issues which includes: Responding to inquiries, concerns and complaints via telephone, e-mail, and on-line chat to achieve a mutually satisfactory solution while complying with policies, practices and procedures.
    The core competencies include:
    • Trading and margin analysis.
    • Ability to identify, analyse, and escalate complex issues.
    • Must demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills to bring problems to a quick resolution.
    • Takes personal responsibility for identifying client needs by providing a high value experience.
    Requirements
    • University degree (Bachelors) required.
    • Must possess excellent oral & written language skills in English/Mandarin.
    • Excellent analytical skills
    Candidate should have at least 2-3 years trading or brokerage experience in either stocks, futures, options or FX, and should have a good understanding of market structure, order types, etc.
    Other language skills a plus.

    • Daily Website Update
    • Translate/Convert New Web Pages
    • Translate various application tags
    • Customer related translation
    • Translate sales document/Advertisement
    • Other assigned duties

    Requirements
    • Bachelors or Masters degree (Finance/Translation/Languages fields preferable)
    • 1-2 years experience in financial services/Translation industries (e.g., brokerage, banking, trading, exchange or clearinghouse);
    • In depth understanding of the following financial instruments: stocks, securities options, futures, options on futures, foreign exchange and fixed income;
    • Must possess excellent oral & written language skills in English/Mandarin.
    • Other language skills a plus.

    Responsibilities

    The core competencies include:
    • Thorough understanding of office and internet related applications
    • Windows XP Professional Troubleshooting
    • Windows Vista Troubleshooting
    • Windows XP Home Troubleshooting
    • Windows 2000 Professional Troubleshooting
    • DNS, TCP/IP and Application Support
    • Hands-on PC Troubleshooting
    • Exposure To Linux or Mac a plus
    Requirements:
    • Minimum of 1 year Call Center or Phone Support experience in the financial services industry.
    • Strong Technical Troubleshooting Skills
    • Excellent oral & written language skills in English/Mandarin.
    • Strong people skills
    • Bachelors Degree (IT fields preferable)
    • Will also consider technical certifications- A+ Certification, etc.
